We understand that parting with your laptop and sending it to a company based elsewhere in the UK can be an unsettling experience. We have given a great deal of thought to our system to ensure it is as easy, and environmentally friendly as possible.

We aim to keep costs down by repairing rather than replacing parts. When replacement parts are needed, rest assured we will source brand-new, genuine parts. Directly from the manufacturer where applicable.

Our repair services start from only £29.95 including collection / delivery, and all prices and quotation are fully inclusive of parts, labour and VAT. There are NEVER any hidden charges.

For 8 years, The Laptop Hut has provided repair services for businesses of all sizes. We have repaired over 9,000 laptops for John Lewis Partnership customers, over 2,000 laptops for clients of insurance companies, such as Capital Bank, IGI, and more than 3,000 laptops for other business users.

We work with logistic partner DPD to offer a secure, insured, and waste free transit service.
On the agreed day of collection, you will receive an sms message indicating a 1 hour time slot for your collection.
The DPD driver will arrive with a purpose made transit case for your device, he will pack it for you and security seal it in front of you.
You will receive a receipt of transit and the repair process has started.
Usually within 48hours of the collection, you will receive news of our inspection and what work needs to be done.
There is no obligation to proceed with the quotation, and if you wish to receive the device back unrepaired the charge for transport / inspection is £29.95 inc vat.
If you wish to proceed, you will be given an estimated return date, based on parts availability.
The unit is returned with DPD, who will take away all packaging to be re-used. On arrival you will receive a full report indicating what was done and a vat receipt for any costs incurred

Frequently Asked Questions
Each unit is insured for £10,000 during transit and repair.
Although we cannot be held responsible for loss of data, we make every effort to protect it during the process. In the event that the fault lies in the hard drive, we will always offer you the option of data recovery if available.
All our hardware repairs come with a 90 day warranty. In the event that you have a problem, let us know and we will put it right at no further cost.
Due to our size and experience, we have access to a far wider selection of parts than your average repairer. Our brand specialists also have a far more detailed view of common faults, and fixes.
We take our reputation very seriously, and all complaints will be dealt with by a director of the company. In the first instance please contact us on the email address above. You will receive a response within 1 working day.
